About the event

Art of the Imagination: Teen Workshop is an opportunity for youth, ages 13-18, to learn technique and process from a working artist, using the collection of The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures for inspiration. This year participants will create landscapes and portraits utilizing textile materials. All skills welcome!‎‎‎‎

About the artist:‎ Textile artist  Karen E. Griffin (KE)  is a storyteller and self-taught, award-winning artist. She creates vibrant two-dimensional abstract works that aim to empower viewers to embrace their unique identities. A selection of Griffin’s work is currently featured in The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures’ Art of the Imagination case.‎‎‎‎

Griffin is the Missouri Arts Council Honoree | 2025 Individual Artist.‎‎‎‎

Registration includes all art project supplies, a snack, and lots of FUN!‎‎‎‎
