About the event
Art of the Imagination: Teen Workshop is an opportunity for youth, ages 13-18, to learn technique and process from a working artist, using the collection of The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures for inspiration. This year participants will create landscapes and portraits utilizing textile materials. All skills welcome!
About the artist: Textile artist Karen E. Griffin (KE) is a storyteller and self-taught, award-winning artist. She creates vibrant two-dimensional abstract works that aim to empower viewers to embrace their unique identities. A selection of Griffin’s work is currently featured in The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures’ Art of the Imagination case.
Griffin is the Missouri Arts Council Honoree | 2025 Individual Artist.
Registration includes all art project supplies, a snack, and lots of FUN!
