I'll be on the balcony December 25th - 31st selling prints, one of kind African origainal textiles, art and classes.
Last year, I designed 100 different African abstracts honoring my Ancestors and culture.
Kansas City celebrates Kwanzaa with the city-wide celebration, which typically features daily events from December 26th to January 1st, hosted in partnership with the National Black United Front and the American Jazz Museum. The celebration is held at the Gem Theater in the 18th & Vine Jazz District and includes nightly events that highlight the seven principles of Kwanzaa, often featuring local vendors, performances, and cultural activities. The week culminates with the "Kwanzaa Feast" or "Unity Feast," where community members are encouraged to bring a dish to share.
