Service Description

Hands-on quilting session making one quilt block This session will engage you with hand quilting one traditional quilt block with the intent to discover and explore a newfound connection to historical moments and through art. A Traditional Quilt is one that uses regularly repeating shapes based on a grid. The blocks used can be simple or complex, familiar historical blocks where the rows and columns are the same block. Traditional quilts rely on symmetry with uniform sashing and borders. Materials: Fabric, needle, scissors, ruler, and batting provided.
